First signs of sorrel and chives in the raised beds, and a lot to tidy up, but April 1 was a great day to be out in it.

Gardening season has begun: starting with the trug

We awoke the raised vegetable bed (the "trug," it's called) from its winter slumber.
 
We put in the first lettuce, which we hope will thrive in this little greenhouse until the weather warms up.
